New products to facilitate seamless recording and sharing of video content
A range of new products to facilitate seamless recording and sharing of video content has been introduced by Cisco.
The new innovations complement the company's flagship product, Cisco TelePresence, by enhancing the usability of videos for events, training and internal and external communications.
Marthin De Beer, Cisco's senior vice president of TelePresence, Emerging Technologies and Consumer Business, said: "As the market transition to video takes place globally in the enterprise, we believe it's critical that our customers have the ability to easily work across the video workflow: from the creation and production of video, to consumption and sharing capabilities.
"We also believe that they should have access to devices and offerings that work together in a seamless and intuitive way. Cisco is committed to driving ongoing innovation that delivers on our vision for the pervasive deployment of video."
Moreover, the networking giant also launched several products to help customers integrate video easily into their organisation's set-up, from the desktop to conference room.
Other new products include a 47in Cisco TelePresence endpoint, which is ideal for small conference-room settings. Plus, a new user interface for Cisco TelePresence endpoints was also announced, as well as the first line of Cisco Unified IP Phones that come with built-in cameras.
