What is T-36 Lifecycle?

T-36 is a proactive plan to engage customers during the life of their license agreement to maximise their Enterprise Agreement (EA). The plan below maps out a timeline of Microsoft's internal processes to the EA life cycle.


Microsoft has deemed the following as the six critical success factors of the Enterprise Agreement life cycle:

  • Effective Account Planning (AP) and Growth Planning
  • Infrastructure Optimisation (IO), Deployment and Adoption
  • Sofware Assurance (SA) Activation and Consumption
  • Software Asset Management (SAM) Optimisation
  • Consistent Enterprise Agreement (EA) True-Up Practices
  • T-18 Enterprise Agreement (EA) Renewal Engagement
