As we approach the end of the exciting Formula 1 season, with Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton engaged in fierce competition, it is interesting to highlight Citrix's role in the partnership with Red Bull Racing.
With so many races this year and so many different characteristics, it is very important to configure the car optimally so that they maximize the performance for the driver. They often do this in the wind tunnel and with computer generated data.
Citrix technology is very important in this for Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Alpha Tauri, the sister team of Red Bull Racing. All control rooms at the wind tunnel facility are offered virtually through Virtual Apps and Desktops. This means that the two teams can share the physical environment but from different digital environments. With the Citrix Workspace, the teams can easily switch between the different test setups. This minimizes downtime and saves valuable time and money. F1 has set a limit on the use of the wind tunnel. Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Alpha Tauri must therefore make extremely efficient use of this facility.
Thus, by using Citrix Workspace, the teams can easily use the shared facilities and access the resources they need in an easy way from anywhere in the world at any time, trying to gain a competitive advantage or to keep.
